Trail Description Trails are on Lake Russell shore and deep wood trails run along side if it gets to hot in the summer. Day parking in town right on the trail for a quick start.

Times to Avoid
Campground No camping in town, only day parking on the trail area. There is a large pasture at farm for primitive camping. Calhoun Falls State Park is next door and we can stall your horse if you like.

Directions Take hwy.81 to where it meets hwy.72 and we are within 50 feet of intersection below Anderson S.C. Hwy. 72 runs from Ga. to S.C. and hwy. 81 runs north and south along Ga. bordering S.C.

 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
